Who am I?
My (pen) name is Syd Sable. I created this website to share the novels I plan to write and self-publish, the first of which is currently in progress. I also like to draw, so expect artworks which you can also buy, watermark-free, on my Redbubble shop page (coming soon).
Blog & Updates
The blog is where I’ll likely be most active between releases, sharing whatever’s on my mind that I think is worth posting.
I also post updates from this website via X/Twitter for convenience. I’m not a fan of social media, and I created that account mainly to give this site a wider reach. Don’t expect hot takes there; the account functions purely as an updates feed.
You can also subscribe to updates via RSS or email by following the instructions on this page. The setup is a bit convoluted, but I’m holding off on paid mailing list services until I see a growing readership.
Privacy & Interaction
I’m a private, introverted person, so there’s no comment section or public contact address. It may feel one-sided, but I view this as a fair exchange:
- You give your time, attention, and support (if you choose to purchase my books or artwork).
- I give you works I’ve put effort into, hoping they interest you and respect your intelligence.
Here, you won’t find preachy content, low-effort work, or shady money-making schemes. Everything I share is something I’d want to read or buy myself. This is a hobby, not a substitute for my day job.
What’s coming?
I hope you enjoy what you find here. Please be patient while I finish the first book! I’m dedicating most of my free time to Scrivener, and finding your groove after a day of corporate work is harder than it sounds.
